1. How do I contact Animal Control?: Glendale does not have a shelter or animal control officers. We contract our animal services through the City and County of Denver. You may call them at 303-698-0076

3. How do I register as a sex offender?: You must make an appointment with Detective Krumenacker to register. 303-639-4324. For more information, please see our Programs and Services section.

4. How do I get fingerprinted for my job or school?: Colorado Bureau of Investigations (CBI) has implemented a new Statewide Digital Fingerprinting Process known as CABS (Colorado Applicant Background Services). This program began Monday September 24, 2018. Glendale Police no longer does fingerprints for backgrounds, security guards or any other licenses. 6. How do I get property taken as evidence returned to me?: The evidence tech can be contacted at 303-639-4312. You MUST call this number before coming to the station to ensure that one of the property custodians will be available to assist you. The return of property also depends on the status of your case.

7. Do security guards have to be licensed in Glendale?: Yes, all merchant guards must be licensed through the City. For more information on the licensing process or a list of licensed companies, call 303-639-4300. (We no longer fingerprint for backgrounds for this license however.)

8. How do I find out if registered sex offenders live in the area?: The Colorado Bureau of Investigation website provides information about sex offenders.
