All contractors need to have a City of Glendale contractor license in order to pull a permit.

The Building and Court window is open 8am to 4pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday the window is open 8am to 12pm.

We prefer an electronic submittal which can be achieved one of two ways: First, we have an online fillable Permit Application that will also allow you to upload a set of drawings. Second, you may email the PDF version of the permit application and plans to BuildingPermits@glendale.co.us. If the plans are too large to send via either method you may send using a file share service of your choice or we can give you a link to ours.

Building Permits
No, you will need a Glendale Contractor License to pull a permit. However, you may submit both the license application and permit application together and we will process them simultaneously and then we can combine the fees so you will only have to make one payment.
